ND and PFD on iPad

Featured Replies

I know there is a way to do it but I am not sure how.  I fly the fenix and want to put the nd and pfd on another device such as a tablet or iPad along with my current Skalarki mcdu and fcu.  What would I need to accomplish this and how would I do it?

For Ipad / Tablet you can use Spacedesk to create a extra monitor on your tablet.

Then popout with Popout panel manager

Google search the 2 applications they are free

Do you find that Spacedesk when putting the ND and PFD on an ipad reduces performance a bunch?  I set everything up and love how it looks but I got way more stutters while on the ground than i had before.  How do you resolve that?  Thanks

For me it works fine but some considerations:

But do you have Vsync or Gsync enabled? Sometimes it has problems with multimonitor setup

V-Sync yes

I had mega stutters with pop out panels before I turned off v-sync and turned off the fps limit in the MSFS 2024 settings. After that, performance with pop out panels is great.

Make sure you also turn off V-sync and FPS limit in nvidia or AMD control setups too, as they may override the game settings.
