WINCTRL support is a nightmare
I think the key here is to not buy this stuff directly from the companies, but via proper retailers who have good customer service. I finally received my refund from winctrl yesterday. Just a bit over 15 weeks since the order was supposed to be delivered to me. I really wonder how much longer it would have taken if I hadnt been asking them about the status of the issue every week and kept insisting they solved it properly... They are quick to respond in the ticket system, but nothing actually happens. Don´t buy from winctrl directly. They have HORRIBLE customer service policies.

Welcome to the Synaptic A220 - Releases next week on the MP
Are you looking at the secondary flight plan? It will only download there, not in the primary.

Even though there might be issues, (has there been any complex addon without issues?) it certainly seems like a promising addon, and the good communication and tight update schedule from the developer gives a lot of confidence, IMO. It is very enjoyable to have something like this in the sim, it is fresh and new and different from the Airbus and Boeing stuff. Looks and sounds good too. I think I am going to fly it a lot going forward.

Yes. I tried the A220 yesterday and via Glassout works well with a few caveats. Just be sure to have the newest version of Glassout downloaded from the changelog on the site, as the auto-updater doesnt seem to work. It should be version 1.14.4: https://glassout.flyingart.dev/library/changelog 1.14.0 will not work. You will need to create fragments from the one big texture which has got everything on it, but I found the process pretty easy. The resolution and details are still good, no problems there. There seems to be some bugs at the moment with the pop out screens not responding to cursors, possibly related to GSX. But I am pretty confident they will get fixed.

Sim Update as a happy surprise ...
It is SU 6 release version, it seems.

WINCTRL support is a nightmare
I unfortunately also have horrible experience with their customer service. It has been over two months since UPS marked my latest order as delivered, although nothing was delivered in reality. Other deliveries before this went well with no problems, and I was very happy with the products themselves, so I hoped it would be resolved quickly. Nope. Initially they just told me that "it has been delivered" and they could not refund or reship. The "proof of delivery" is just the standard UPS thing on the tracking, saying signed for by driver. People were at home, it is the only house in the end of a long driveway in the woods, and we also have a dog with pretty good hearing, so... UPS has not been anywhere near us this time, and none of the neighbors had seen anything either. After quite a lot of insistence on my side Winctrl had me fill out a form and told me that UPS was going to investigate. I have asked for updates since then, without any news other than they are waiting for reply from UPS. After seven weeks I demanded a refund and they just said they could reship the order. Which they should have offered many many weeks ago, IMO. I made it clear that just reshipping is not acceptable at this point and that they should either add something on top as an apology or do the refund. They said refund will be in my account within a week. Now it's been a week, no refund in sight yet. Bah. Thankfully it seems like MOZA is expanding their product line for flight sim, and I can get MOZA stuff from local retailers, so I am going to switch over to them gradually I think. Not going to gamble on Winctrl and the abysmal customer service again.

Can anyone who owns the A220 confirm if popped out displays are interactable with the mouse or not?

iniBuilds A350 V2
I agree with that, absolutely. At least they pop out individually on the A350, but the lack of mouse and touch support is a big limitation.

iniBuilds A350 V2
Hopefully they will allow for interacting with pop-out screens via mouse and touch. This works on the FBW A380, but not the Ini A350, and is very annoying for us who fly with extra monitors and pop out displays.

MSFS in the Background
This is a consequence of nvidia's frame gen. It only works on active windows. AMD FSR may be worth a try, as it keeps working on non-active windows, but it might not be as effective, depending on your setup and other settings.

Aerosoft is a big scam
It is still a very stupid omission, and almost all other planes for the sim - including the default ones - have this implemented in an alright way.

If you could only keep one…?
Fenix A320, Black Square Starship and Black Square Bonanza would be my picks. They are incredibly well made and I enjoy flying them a lot! I don't have any helis or bush planes yet, but perhaps I should start looking into those as well?

Anyone using a 16GB graphics card with MSFS2024 in 4K?
I ran a 49" 32:9 5120x1440 superwide for a while, which is touching 4k resolution in amount of pixels. It did not work too well with RX 9070 XT and 7800 X3D with anything close to high settings. Switching it out for a 40" 3440x1440 21:9 ultrawide was better, and that aspect ratio and size works better for MSFS anyway I think. You'd get by alright with 16gb then, depending a bit on the CPU. If you want stuff at ultra and high LOD's you unfortunately have to start thinking about a 5090. I don't regret getting mine, and flight simming has never looked this good, but it is VERY expensive.

iniBuilds A380 ...
I will buy this day one - IF they have proper display pop-outs with touch screen support.

Remember TinMouse Boeing 737-200?
I remember being on a Ryanair flight in 2004 with the 737-200, they actually didn´t retire them until 2005, which is weird to think about today. A good one for MSFS 2024 would be great!
