Helicopter Question

Featured Replies

I'm trying to start flying (Attempting) helicopters. I selected the Bell, but it doesn't matter which one, whatever one I chose, as soon as I lift off the ground, the copter starts spinning to the right and won't stop. Actually, it starts spinning to the right even on the ground and the throttle is at idle. Any suggestions on how to get this pilot up in the air? As always thank you. You guy's always seem to pull me through and it is appreciated. Walt

Have you correct set your heli controls?

I'm trying to, but being a rookie, I'm having a hard time with it. I'll try this video you sent and thank you. Walt

You definitely need to use the anti-torque pedals on a non fbw heli.

If the rotor rotates clockwise (european), adding power/collective will make the nose swing left, and the way around if it's a CCW (usa built) rotating prop.
