March 23Mar 23 I took a very long brake flying the ATR and yesterday I took it out of the hangar. Now something very strange is happening on my PC....if I start ENG 2 (regardless if it's in the HOTEL mode or not) if I press Shift + C to exit the plane, the ENG will turn OFF! If ENG 1 is started and I exit the plane, everything works as expected. Also if I only start ENG 1 and exit the plane, nothing unusual (ENG keeps running as expected). So let's summarize: Scenario 1: Start ENG 2 in HOTEL mode -> Shift + C -> ENG turns off Scenario 2: Start ENG 2 in HOTEL mode -> Start ENG 1 -> Shift + C -> all OK (ENG2 stays in HOTEL mode - ENG 1 spinns) Scenario 3: Start ENG 1 -> Shift + C -> no issue So ENG2 will always shut down if it's the only one that runs. Just to add: No other key binding to Shift + C! Gerald K. - Germany AMD 7800x3D / ASUS ROG X670E-Gaming / ASUS Strix RTX 3090 OC / 64 Gb RAM GSKILL. "Flightstick" = X56 HOTAS RGB Logitech
March 23Mar 23 Are you sure SHIFT-C isn't by any chance also assigned to fuel cutoff (condition lever Shutoff) or "Mixture Cutoff" or the like? Learning to fly gliders since 1980Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)
March 23Mar 23 Author @jcomm pretty sure because if it would have been assigned to any of those, it would kill the ENG every time.... Gerald K. - Germany AMD 7800x3D / ASUS ROG X670E-Gaming / ASUS Strix RTX 3090 OC / 64 Gb RAM GSKILL. "Flightstick" = X56 HOTAS RGB Logitech
