April 24Apr 24 It's great that RFP 747-200 has become freeware, I'm enjoying getting to grips with this great Classic. Like many others have found, the freeware didn't come with the Passenger and Cargo Loaders as well as the Takeoff Performance Calculator, Fuel Planner and S-Combo. I have tried some of the old links for these items but to no avail. Is there some currently live link, place or person I could bother for them? Any answer of Yes/No/You've got to be kidding would be appreciated. Cheers
April 24Apr 24 Have you tried using simbrief? It is a planner and includes a take-off and landing calculator. https://www.simbrief.com/home/ Edited April 24Apr 24 by TWSY
April 24Apr 24 Author Hi TWSY, yes I have used SimBrief for other Aircraft. The Utilities that were available on the original Retail CD version were specifically designed for RFP, so I would like to get hold of them if someone has them or knows where they could be available. I do have the performance tables for RFP but the Utilities get things done in a very orderly manner which I like. Or would like if found! Cheers for the reply.
April 24Apr 24 Massive fan of RFP in it's day, haven't used it for ages, indeed haven't used FS9 since P3Dv4 and haven't used that since about 2 years ago... However, I'm a digital hoarder... https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/gvrp8w3q7e2b5is0gmom2/RFP.7z?rlkey=88lo36pyyi5fbadykxd5og021&st=grdm5w0u&dl=0 Hope this helps, Ian
April 24Apr 24 Author Hi iwebber, brilliant! Thank you heaps. My wife tells me not to be a hoarder myself... but hey, here's proof... someday it will come in handy.... :-). I really appreciate it, cheers ( Time for some more 'Simming' )
May 8May 8 Author Up and running with this old RFP 747-200. Thanks for the help and advice given to 'get this in the air'. The original retail box came with an advanced version add on called CLASSIC S-COMBO. Does anyone still have this add-on? Cheers - Ian S.
May 10May 10 Author Ok got it from The Internet Archive, can't get it to connect to RFP, message stating Class Not Registered in 'SetupDirectSound' routine. Bummer!

It was available from OnCourse Software, the proprietor of which recently retired and made his current product PF3 free. But I'm not sure if S-Combo itself is available anywhere. You could ask on the forums at https://www.oncourse-software.co.uk/forums/ John My co-pilot's name is Sid and he's a star! http://www.adventure-unlimited.org
