When I select to start at the gate using the PMDG 737-800 using MS2024 it loads outside the aircraft. I can click on the door latch and the door doesn't open. Would anyone know how to access the aircraft to the flightdeck?

SHIFT + C ought to work

Only if you have the ground app. which I forget the name right now. It just brings up the controls menu.

The default MSFS2024 keystroke for getting into the cockpit is (left) SHIFT + C.

If you have changed the default keys then you'll need to get into the Controls menu and look for the command called "Take Control of Aircraft", and see what key is bound to that. If nothing is bound to it, bind it and you should be good.

Thank you. I will check this out. Ok. It's take control of character for me. Thank you so much. The last time I used the PMDG to start at the gate, I used the PMDG setup in the FMC to my start and panel saved inputs.

That's it, "Take Control of Character". I couldn't quite remember if it was take control of aircraft or take control of character.
