Phenom 300 control windows

Featured Replies

I have just watched A330 driver's tutorial for the Phenom 300, To change which window control is being used on the G3000 - he shows switching windows by placing your mouse left or right on the left knob below the GTC. I see the arrow, but when I click on it (as A330 driver suggests) the window control does not change.

What am I doing wrong?

I just click and hold the top of the knob and drag to the left or right, depending on what window I want to select. I'm not sure if this works in the legacy control mode, however.

Thanks Funke D. Not sure as to how you 'hold the top of the knob and drag to left or right' . If I click the top of the left knob (to hold it) below the GTC, I get the touch pane, and that clearly serves a different function. If I place my mouse cursor to say the left of the same knob, I see the arrow, and whether I click and drag or just drag, the window control does not change, either on the left or right. I am in 'modern' control mode.

I cracked it. !!!! I needed to ensure that the left and/or right screen are in Split View prior to transferring the window control from the center screen. To achieve the split screen go to PDF settings on either the left or right screen and change the view from full to split.

Hope this may help some of my fellow simmers.
