Wednesday at 08:48 AM1 day I have a problem with my pilot2atc version 3 RC3 whereby once I connect to the sim (X-Plane 12) the ATC is tuned into the airport ATIS, which in itself is not a problem. The problem comes when I switch the frequency to ground to obtain clearance. The ATIS keeps talking even though the frequency as changed plus the text options for the ground controller do not come up. I try to call but the ATIS just keeps talking. Is anyone else seeing this problem ? if so is there anything I can do settings or otherwise to stop this from happening. It does seem to be more of a bug to me.
Wednesday at 12:48 PM1 day Commercial Member Some specific aircraft may not allow P2A to swap frequencies, so you have to do that in the cockpit. You may even have to set the standby frequency in the cockpit. Try using one of the stock GA aircraft in your SIM to rule this cause out. Also, the SIMs have settings that allow them to control the frequencies. These are in the ATC settings and should be turned off, along with any other ATC settings.Sometimes, just swapping the frequencies a second time, or Disconnecting and Reconnecting will fix this sort of issue.Dave
