Looking for a Guide to Setting up Bindings & Profiles

Featured Replies

A side effect of the recent X-Box system hiccups has been that I have lost many of my custom bindings on my PC, for the Keyboard, Joy Stick & Throttle quadrant.

In trying to re-establish them I have found my knowledge of 'how to' is deficient, so if anyone knows of an online written guide, or videos, on how to set up bindings & profiles, I would appreciate learning of it.

Thank you

IMO, Fastest way to re-bind from scratch is to load up the aircraft you want to fly in free flight. Once loaded up, hit ESC, settings, controls, and select the hardware you want to bind from the list on the left. Rather than search for each control, there is a drop down filter you can switch from All to Essential, which should then show you the main things to rebind. The main annoyance is that you have to do each device separately so you need to somewhat remember what you have bound and where so you don't double bind by accident. A lot of users take screenshots after setting up to remind them in the future. Its easy to remember the basics like Elevator Trim, but easier still to forget to bind Quick Reply or Master Caution Acknowledge.
