Door Failures.

Featured Replies

One failure built into some Got Friends planes (such as their new TaylorCraft BC-12D) is door failure. (I saw that failure mentioned in Avangels new video from 4 hours ago). So how does that failure work?

"Will somebody help me open this door"?

"Sorry, Dave, I can't do that. You must figure it out yourself"

Haven't seen AvAngels video but I'd guess it flops around according to their physics modeling if not properly shut and latched?

A door doesn't flop around, it's held closed by slipstream. Entirely common for doors to come unlatched in flight in older GA aircraft, it's a complete non-event. Hard to see what they'd consider worth modeling here... Unless the door does something entirely unrealistic, you'd never even know it happened.
