October 4Oct 4 Last night before going to put my snot in the straw I needed to commemorate having been able to load the Ini A340-300 again in FS 2024 with this latest flighting SU7 beta, so I created the LPMN - LPPT flightplan in SimBrief, started FS 2024 and BATC, and rushed with the loading and pushback and startup, but when I was about to start my taxi to 04R I found I would arrive too late in Lisbon :-/Already airborne I started trying to find my bindings for simulation rate increase / decrease, and apps that among other stuff can display it, but I was already climbing to cruise, and didn't want to shut the session down and those default keybindings aren't useful if you can't really have the rate displayed somewhere for checking... Well, GEMINI solved my problems, and although for sure most of you know it already, truth is I was completely unaware of this "Dev Mode feature" !Enabled Dev Mode, Options, and more or less half way down the drop down menu, there was that simulation rate figure showing 1x, with a "Pause" option above it, and two "+" / "-" buttons ahead.... I was able to control my sim rate, andf although the INI 340 does not include a sim rate option in the EFB (at least that I was able to find) and as soon as you set a higher than normal rate returns it to 1x, if you keep pressing teh mouse button it'll keep varying between 2x, 4x, 8x...It is also like an "anti-stress" gadget :-) While in cruise, with the Map view displayed in the EFb (now that I do not own a Navigraph subscription) I was able to watch the lightning speed progress 😁I was able to reach the TOD, alerady close to my destination, way in time for a normal rate descent, approach and landing to Lisbon 🙏 Edited October 4Oct 4 by jcomm Learning to fly gliders since 1980AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB DDR4, RTX 3060Ti (8GB), GIGABYTE B550 AORUS Elite AX V2 mobo, 1TB + 500GB nvme m.2 disks
