Just fired up msfs2024 and it gives a message saying the gamemode_name will be unavailable due to maintenance scheduled for (maintanence day) at (time maintenance) (local time). You can check your notification panel at any time to see the maintenance schedule.

Never got a messsage like this before - what's it all about?

Edit -Aha, I see - it's to do with career mode, so not an issue for me as I don't use it, I guess.

There was indeed some maintenance affecting carreer mode. But all is good now :)
