July 16, 200322 yr Fabio,You're completely right, but i was a little bit "lost" between the Airbusses.(Only B767-3..)But i admire the works, so tried to give some hints.Jan"Procul Negotiis" Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
July 16, 200322 yr Hey Jan.Excellent, cooperation is how we survive :-).By the way, how goes the FMS?
July 17, 200322 yr PW4000 Turbofan engine (94 inch typical on A330's, 100 inch variant on some newer ones like TAM's):http://www.mhi.co.jp/aero/english/productf/imgf/pw4000.jpghttp://www.aircraftenginedesign.com/pictures/PW4000.gifhttp://www.ae.utexas.edu/~Varghese/class/p...0_100in_cut.jpg
July 17, 200322 yr Fabio,100% operable and very stable, nice "eyecandy".The major drawback are the NAVDATA.Since xml cannot read a .txt file, i have to write everything in xml code and that is very timeconsuming (and errorprone). So i made up until now 20 flightplans.Everything works, don't have to explain, but after pressing TOGA things happen automatically untill clearing the active.Jan"Procul Negotiis" Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
July 17, 200322 yr Hey Jan.That is awesome. Great job on it man!Have you tried C? To do an FMS, that would be ideal.
July 17, 200322 yr Fabio,Pity, totally An"C"betic.Jan"Procul Negotiis" Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
July 17, 200322 yr Hey Jan.C and C++ are really not bad! I think most people make it out to be something impossible to understand, but coupled with some modern books, it is quite the contrary!I can recommend some books if you'd like.
July 17, 200322 yr Fabio,Thanks, but i came from 0 to 1+ with xml in 1 year and i have a very busy job.May be later.Jan"Procul Negotiis" Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."

July 19, 200322 yr i.ve made the spinner a bit bigger and hav twisted the blades a bit more. tell me if i need to do anything to it again please.http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/24260.txt
July 19, 200322 yr It's gotta be pushed waaaay back. From the pictures I posted, it's about 1/4 back into the nacelle.
July 19, 200322 yr There we go. A slightly large spinner and it'll be good to go :-)Also there are about 36-41 blades on these turbofans, the 100 incher has about 26. Little nitpicking stuff but might be a concern for you.
