change view height in 2D panel

Recommended Posts

With the older FS planes it's was easy to change the 2D view height in all the 8 directions out of the cockpit in the panel.cfg file. With the newer planes in FS2004, for instance the Cessna Amphibian, this is only possible for the front view over the panel. Am I right that the other 7 views are defined in the mdl-file. Is it possible to change these view heights and if the answer is yes, how can this been done.

All 2d view settings are set in the panel.cfg file, just as it's always been done...Perhaps I'm missing your point?

In the FS2000 aircrafts all views have there one bmp-file.In the panel.cfg file of the Dreamfleet 737-400 you find for instance for the left and forward left views the folling lines:[Window Titles]Fixed Window35=LeftFixed Window36=Forward LeftVIEW_LEFT_WINDOWS=35 VIEW_LEFT_EYE=0.0, 0.0, 4.0 VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_WINDOWS=36 VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_DIR=7.0, 0.0, 330With these lines it's possible to change the seat height to get a better outside view.In the FS2004 aircrafts (for example the C172) these lines are missing. Only bmp-files for the panel are in the panel.cfg file and[Views]VIEW_FORWARD_DIR= 3.0, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=1.0I don't know how to change the seat height for all the directions accept the front view.
