November 28, 200421 yr How do you edit panels in FS2004? When I had 2002, I used the aircraft editor, but 2004 doesn't come with one. Is there a program I can download to edit with?
November 28, 200421 yr Panel.cfg files are plain text - you can edit them with notepad. If you want something a little more sophisticated, go here:http://www.fspanelstudio.com/Worth every dime you will pay for it...Doug
November 28, 200421 yr If choose the plain text option, how do I know where the gauges will be positioned on the panel?
November 28, 200421 yr If you want the FS2004 FSEdit, download the SDK from http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulator/ , downloads, FS2004SDK.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert

December 3, 200421 yr I use the program CFGedit with FS2004 and it seems to work fine for positioning & resizing gauges even though it says it is only compatible with previous versions of FS.
