I thought I'd have another go at using Gmax, and have re-installed the latest version and obtained a registration key. But I can't find anywhere to enter it.I have posted this query on the Gmax website, where there seem to be quite a number of similar queries, but Gmax support there seems to be pretty non-existent.Perhaps some Avsim users might know the answer?Thanks David

The first time you start the new installation of GMAX, a registration menu should open so you can cut n' paste the registration information into the appropiate boxes.If GMAX runs without this menu, it must already be registered.W. Sieffert

I dont get any registration menu, so I suppose it must already be registered.One reason I thought it might not be is because with a model I downloaded, the instructions said go to 'File/Save Selected', but that option is greyed out.Thanks for your helpDavid

Thanks Bill - I was looking in the 'installation/configuration' forum.I have run the workaround, but still don't get the 'save selected' option.Perhaps you can help with a further point. The aircraft I was trying to use as a static. The author said read in the .Gmax file and save as a .bgl, but it won't allow this.David
