February 22, 200521 yr Commercial Member When Approach Mode is active on the Default 737, the plane really starts to bob up and down as it nears the runways; it really likes to chase the glideslope. Not very smooth at all.I've add autoland functionality to the default 737, but the bobbing up and down as it chases the glideslope makes my autoland real hit and miss.Any way to dampen the bobbing effect? Thanks,Bryan B. February 23, 200521 yr Unstable GS is usually a matter of a unstabilized approach. Try to be established on configuration (landing flaps set + gear down) and speed (approach speed) at least on 4 NM final. The pitch should become stabilized at around +2
February 23, 200521 yr Author Commercial Member Thanks Oskar,They were totally stabalized, so go figure... at any rate I figured out a solution and now the default 737 can do a half decent autoland.Cheers,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
