I am looking for a detailed tutorial on virtual cockpit design and modification. I looked at the Panel SDK but there is no helpful info. I want to know how to add gauges to the virtual panels. I have FSPanelStudio and can display the virtual cockpit sections of the panel.cfg but it is not just a simple matter of adding the gauges there, as it is in the 2D cockpit panel. I have added gauges but they don't show up in FS9. Any help sure would be appreciated. Thanks, regards, Bob.

Hmmm... There's a "sticky note" at the top of this very forum that leads to a tutorial on the topic of VC creation.Note that creating a VC is not simply a matter of creating an entry in the panel.cfg file!There is a relationship between the actual 3d .mdl (model) file and the panel.cfg entries.The .mdl supplies the "projection screen(s)" needed; the panel.cfg entries simply state what gauges to "project onto the screen."
