Fuel valve animation

Featured Replies

I don't seem to be able to get my fuel valve to turn. It works in Gmax (keyframe animation), but won't turn in the sim. I've tried several tags, but no luck. The throttle and mixture controls work well. Any ideas?Robert

>Ya can't animate a group of items. :-doh >>Works great now Too true, but then... you really should NOT be "grouping items" anyway, particularly those that have animation.Ever since the FS9 SDK was released, it has been quite evident that the preferred method of associating related/dependent objects in a .mdl is the node-hierarchy system.Although the act of "grouping" objects rarely (if ever) causes problems, "ungrouping" will frequently lead to "rounding off errors" in scale-matrices, which in turn will append an "OBED Scale" to the .gmax file. This will cause a "warning" on export, but the most often observed effect is missing/incorrect animation.
