January 15, 200620 yr I am not sure but if you create a folder in the gauges folder named VCViewSkip then put this gauge in it because it is a.xml gauge then in your panel.cfg you need an entry similar to:Gauge xx=VCViewSkip!VCViewSkip xxx, xxx,xx,xxLet me know if this works for you, it sure did for me.
January 15, 200620 yr Hi mgh,The probable reason for this is that you don't startup with the aircraft in Cockpit view mode, right ?Because if you place the gauge in window00, the gauge is NOT loaded untill the Cockpit view is selected the first time. So if you startup e.g. in Spotplane View, and cycle through VC View first, the gauge is not active yet :-)Cheers, Rob Barendregt
January 15, 200620 yr Author Thanks for the replies.I have the gauge XML in a sub-folder of panels. I have another custom gauge in there that works perfectly.I do start up in 2D cockpit view. I tried cycling through back to it.When I press 'S' in cockpit view I still get an interior view and the message 'Virtual Cockpit' in red in the top RH corner of the screen Gerry Howard
