July 26, 200619 yr Hi,Is there a way to read the lat/long coordinates and altitude of an ILS, of which the freq. is dialled into the HSI (NAV1) into XML var's ??And if so, does the ILS need to be active (CDI/GSI needles valid) ?Any example code would be most appreciated.Regards, Rob Barendregt
July 26, 200619 yr Rob,There are some unexplored values in the gps.dll like:StationLatLonFacilityLongitude FacilityLatitude NearestVorCurrentLongitude NearestVorCurrentLatitude WaypointVorElevation WaypointVorLongitude WaypointVorLatitude etc.May be you find the solution there,Jan"Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..." Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
July 26, 200619 yr Hi Jan,I tried those .. No result.Maybe the WaypointVor.... (didn't try those) but that would mean I have to enter the ILS in a flightplan. And that's what I'm trying to avoid :-)Thanks anyway, Rob

July 27, 200619 yr Perhaps you can do what I do what I do for DME hold. Start with the aircraft position, range and bearing to your station. Then you can work out the lat/long of the station.
