December 5, 200619 yr FSX doesn't like any entry that has a negative coordinate in it. This was a problem with Simmersky's Overland package. It will not display the guages that do. Just making it positive usually works. Some guages still needs some adjustment to display in the proper position, unfortuneately below zero! Is there another way to make this adjustment if we can't go negative? Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
December 6, 200619 yr Author Moderator Unfortunately, no. The position of the gauge on the $vc texture is limited to the area of the polygon in the model itself, i.e., where the gauge polygon is "physically located" with respect to the $vc texture's coordinates. If the modeler has placed the UVW coordinates of the gauge polygon too close to the edges of the $vc texture's X,Y borders for the gauge's boundarys to "fit" without being negative, then the only "solution" would be to compromise by making the gauge "smaller" by the number of pixels required to remove the negative offset...IOW, if the correct size/placement of a gauge calls for a -2 X value, then "shrink" the gauge's size by 2 pixels width and height...
