help installing a gauge

Recommended Posts

I found what appears to be a very interesting and helpful gauge, but I've never installed one so I'm pretty lost. The gauge is called Terravue by Greg Copeland, and it does come with very detailed instructions and a tutorial. However, since I'm all thumbs with computer lingo,I'm having a heck of a time getting it to work.I sent an e-mail to Mr. Copeland asking if he could send me an image of how the panel.cfg should look after placing it there, but he has not replied. I hope that maybe someone that has this gauge can reply,or at least guide me through the correct steps.I thought I was careful when adding all the information to the Cessna 172 panel cfg file, but apparently something is amiss since the gauge won't appear. I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum.I'm an old retired cop with lots of time on my hands, and I hang around the computer doing a lot of flying.ThanksSkip DXPS400;win XP;XFX 7900gs;2gb Kingston;Dell 19"

Hi. Check your Private Mail. I have the gauge installed in the stock 172 in FSX. FS9 will be the same. I'll try to help you offline. Best regards, Bob.
