Hi BillForgive me for being a wee bit cynical, but impressive as that animation is, there isn't much pixel-pushing going on in the background in TS. Now, if they can do that in FS flying from an outside view looking down at the landscape with Concorde (or similar) at low-level full-bore without requiring an IBM BlueGene, it will be impressive!!-Dai

Dai, the focus is on the advanced IK modeling that the new system allows. As it happens though, aside from it's possible use in missions, it may not be possible to add such characters to an aircraft model at all......some of which is performant related, but also for some other reasons which cannot be discussed presently.

It looks "neat" but I'd rather see, for instance, a saner method for flight model creation/access than a fancy character animation. Good catch though - it certainly adds QUITE a bit to TS.
