FSX 737-800 panel-fix possible?

Recommended Posts

Guest kinetic

Hi, I'm a simple user not a designer, I write to get help on a specific question and would be very thankfull for some profesional consultation! It's the 737-800 panel that bugs me! :(1) The on/off logic on the fsx 737-800 forward lights are reversed. So I always manage to turn them off before landing! :( Because when I put the switch to ON it really turns the lights OFF. (Bug!) Is there any easy modification I could do in an xml file to switch the on/off logic back to "correct"?If anyone has the time, thanks a lot!-Kinetic

Are you referring to the landing lights? There are left and right inboard and outboard switches on the overhead panel. Are they all reversed? Regards, Bob.

Actually all the landing lights (I'm talking about the default fsx 737-800) seems to be linked to just one of the light switches(!). The other ones does nothing :(-Kinetic

Hi. You are right. I never noticed that before. I am no gauge expert so I hope somebody that can fix the b737_800 gauge comes along. I did notice that there is no entry in the lights section of the aircraft.cfg for the landong lights. I guess they are part of the model. Best regards, Bob.

Thanks for your time anyway. I've now switched to Wilco 737-400 (advertisement! :( ) so it's no longer a problem anyway :)-Kinetic
