September 10, 200223 yr Do you have T&L enabled in your display settings? That kind of thing happened to me when I had it enabled...Try turning it off and see what happens..
September 11, 200223 yr Author Not that. I think it might have something to do with the layer levels and the altitude of the airport and runway, which I have tried all I can think of. (-:Anyone one else? Thanks.... i9-13900KS | ASUS Z790 Maximus | Lian Li Galahad II Trinity | G-Skill DDR5-7200 CL34 2x16 | Nvidia 4090 FE | Samsung 990 Pro x 2

September 11, 200223 yr Commercial Member I think I have seen this problem also with correct flatten. It only happens to me in spot view and I think it is just a problem of the scenery engine and the video card.ArnoMember Netherlands 2000 Scenery Team[a href=http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen]http://home.wanadoo.nl/arno.gerretsen/banner.jpg[/a] Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. September 11, 200223 yr This texture bleedthrough is a fairly common FS2002 problem, even on default scenery. For some people, including me, it can be cured by switching T&L off - and then on again. But it has to be done at the beginning of each FS session. Best regards, Chris
September 11, 200223 yr I would hope that this problem could be resolved at the airport design level, but perhaps not.It can often be corrected by setting the elevation of the terrain to the elevation of the airport listed in the Map View database. You are welcome to try a simple "toolkit" I have assembled to create these flatten bgl files. More information and the flatten.zip "toolkit" are available at:www.fs-traveler.com/flatten.htmlRegards, Stevewww.fs-traveler.com
September 11, 200223 yr Author I figured it out. Some how the airport elevation under the general section changed and also that paticular runway elevation was 1.8 feet/0.54 meters to high. I have no idea how that happened. Thanks for the replies. I have another problem also. See my new post. i9-13900KS | ASUS Z790 Maximus | Lian Li Galahad II Trinity | G-Skill DDR5-7200 CL34 2x16 | Nvidia 4090 FE | Samsung 990 Pro x 2
