Can I edit scenery files?

Featured Replies

I recently downloaded a scenery file for Antartica, and while I like it, I would like to edit it to remove all of the static aircraft that are on the ground. The I would like to set it up to have some C130s flying in and out of the base (the scenery does have ground and tower ATC). I know that I'll need TrafficTools to do the flying portion, but how can I edit out those static aircraft? There are probably around 50 727s, 737s and 747s on the ground there, including Air Force 1.Or, does anybody know of an Antartica scenery that does not have static AC included?

Contacting the author and requesting nicely is a first step. Check the scenery folder to see if by chance he used a seperate BGL for the statics, some authors do to help those with slow systems. You could always learn scenery design as many that have wanted to change a scenery have.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com
