  1. You are very close. Quote from a previous messageEnding the first flight... Disable VOXATC... Load new flight (Flights -> Flight Planner -> Load)... Allow FS to move my plane to start airport ... "STOP HERE see below" Once there, I'm activating VOXATC but VOXATC thinks I'm still in my old flight, even tough GPS and Nav Log show the new flight...From the main menu go to Flights | saveenter a new flight name click saveNow Flights | Load load the flight you just saved. Hope that makes sense.Harald
  2. I did get VoxAtc working in Windows 7, what I had to do is set the installer to XPSP2 compatability mode. Once I did that everthing installed and it works well. I didn't find the voice recongnition section int control panel until I selected "show all"Hope that works for youHarald
  3. Ken,I can put together a Word document with a more detailed explanation and pictures for editing the XML file . It's hard to explain here in the forums. Just a note the menu only appears in 2D cockpit when you open FS. To make it appear in virtual cockpit you need to open it manually. Harald
  4. Ken,I'm not sure if this is supported but what I did was add an entry in the AircraftDesignation.xml for a plane that wasn't recognized by VoxAtc. I just copied one of the "AircraftType" sections and modified it so the program would recognize my plane. Besure to make a backup before making changes. A little bit of XML editing is required so be cautious. The file is located under C:Documents and SettingsApplication DataInternal WorkingsVoxATC X. Hope this helpsHarald
  5. Luis,Thank you for the quick responseHarald
  6. Does anyone know a way the change the QMID grid color in SBuilder X.The current dark green color is very hard to see over photo scenery, I would like to change it to yellow. ThanksHarald
  7. I seem to have started getting FATAL ERRORs during any flight I do since I installed SP 2. Anyone else having this type of issue? It doesn't matter where I fly to or from. Restarting VOXATC works fine but I loose my STAR setup.ThanksHarald

Mark,I tried a flight from Denver with SIDs and Stars unfortunatly I had 3 FATAL errors along the way and had to restart, but VOX didn't pick up the STAR when I finally got to Las Vegas. I did not get any repeated messages or loops. The fatal errors may have had something to do with. Probably not much help but I tried. Harald
  9. Bruce,Thanks for your response, but it seems to me if you're going to use ATC that altitude assignments would be part of the experience. Don't get me wrong I'm not being critical of the program I think it's great and adds another level of realism. I just finished a flight into Chicago with procedures and the program brought me in nicely to 32L. I didn't have to go 50 miles out of my way like the MS ATC does. Harald
  10. Bruce,Thanks for that. I tried your method with a little twist, since I don't use a default flight I loaded the the same flight twice and that seemed to do the trick. However like Zane said it should work on the first load. I do have a question for you though do you ever get your cruise altitude when using a SID? I flew the default SID/STAR flight and was never given my cruise altitude. Based on some of the travling I've done mostly on United where you can listen to the real ATC, altitude was always assigned. In other words cross intersection blah blah at FLxxx.RegardsHarald
  11. I tried to set this up the way you suggested and could not get it to work either. I think the problem may be that FSX and FSUIPC are seeing the 2 left buttons on the throttle as 14 and 15 but the Saitek yoke sees them as 15 and 16. Button 14 is on the front of the yoke and is used for timer reset. So something is wacked. Unfortunately I don't have time tonight to mess with it anymore. Forgot to mention I have the same yoke and throttle and love the setup. If I find anything I will post it.Harald
  12. Well I installed version 5.32 and it did not work for me either, I would agree that an MS patch could be the culprit. I will wait for an update from you and thanks again for looking at this.HaraldEDIT:I also tried 3 different versions of FSUIPC and it didn't make a difference.
  13. Thanks ZaneJust so you know I do not have acceleration installed but I do have all the latest MS patches. I have a download of a version from around June I will try that just to test my system to make sure it works.Harald
  14. Well I tried an uninstall and then a complete uninstall including ATT voices and still no joy. Discovered I can't run it unregistered once you register the progrom. Harald
  15. Zane,Thanks for testing that. I will also try and remove my program and test with out doing the registration to see if it makes any difference. Will post back with the results.Harald
