It turns out that google is the only map server with good coverage in the area I want to create with sbuilder, but the tile download limit is stunting any progress. Does anyone know how to bypass this?

Perhaps you can explain what you mean - do you mean that the server is not delivering the tiles? Most servers have a download limit and will stop delivering after a certain time or number of tiles - this is something in the tile server - is that what you are experiencing?

Then as far as I know you just have to live with it unless you pay money

The latest version of Gunnar Daehling's Maps2Bgl program incorporates a "Capcha" module that allows you to continue the download. When google cuts you off, the program pops open a window where you type the characters that appear in a small graphic image followed by the return key. The download then resumes.Jim
