CD Help

Can anyone tell me where and what DC I find the original txt files for airport parking and taxiways for default scenery. Thanks Andrew

Andrew

I assume you mean CD vice DC. The text files are generated by decompiling the traffic.bgl file located in your fs2002scenedbATCScenery folder. Use TTools decompiler for this purpose.

I mean where can I find the original files and on what CD. How do I get back the airport layouts as they came from Microsoft before I changed them with AFCAD.Thanks Andrew

Andrew

Here are two methods:1. Go to your FS2002ScenedbAFDFilesScenery folder, and you will find a bunch of .bgl files, and a few that end with .ORIGINAL instead. Move or delete the few modified .bgl files and rename the .ORIGINAL files to .bgl. This will restore them. For example, if there is a file called glafd3.ORIGINAL, then move or delete the glafd3.bgl file and rename glafd3.ORIGINAL to glafd3.bgl.2. Look in the FS2002.CAB file on CD #1 of FS2002 and you'll find these original files. You can then copy them over your modified files in the above folder.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

AFCAD 1.2.2 also has an option to do this for you. Thanks again, Lee.
