August 6, 200223 yr ... at least for me it only finds airports if I don't tick the "only airports in Airports.txt" box.(amd yes, there is an airports.txt file - I've tried it in the scenerydb/atc/scenery folder, as well as the AITM folder).Anyone else see this?I'm just starting to work my way carefully through the functions of this powerful program - I can see a lot of scope for user error by this particular user.
August 6, 200223 yr Yes, I noticed this too. I am using 1.2 beta 2, but I just noticed that the 1.2 final has been released, so I'll check it with that before contacting Thomas. My symptom was the same - AITM couldn't find the airport, even though it was in the folder's airport.txt file and AFCAD could find it OK in the AFD files. I also couldn't find all of the flights in the USA. While AITM 1.2b2 found only 6000 flights in the USA (searched for United States), AITM 1.1 could find all 7000 flights within the same flight plan file.-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
August 6, 200223 yr I found if you open a flightplan first, it seems to work correctly. If you have an comments or questions, I'm sure Thomas will answer you.http://www.molitor-home.de/FS/AITM Bill Sieffert

I thought I had tried that without success, but following your message I tried again, and yes it works just as you say, thanks.Thomas is away for 3 weeks, so I'll probably be coming here again for guidance.
August 7, 200223 yr Author Thanks Tom, I am using the full release version, so it is a small bug. WS points out that it works correctly if a flightplan is loaded first.Thomas is in San Francisco for 3 weeks. I'll post a note on his site about this effect.
August 9, 200223 yr The full release version seems to work fine for me, BTW.One thing that might confuse people might be if they (like me) have moved their AFD files to other locations than the default (in order to have more than one version available to me by the simple click of the mouse in the Scenery Library). AITM only looks in the default location, and then won't know about those airports that it can't find. I move the AFD files back into their default location while working in AITM.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
