Steve,As you know I'm no expert at this but...Have you tried merging the parts together? Are you sure it isn't a polys issue? Those arches seems to have way too many faces = polys. As Alejandro said attaching parts of the scene into one, welding adjacent points, reducing some polygons may help. if you like you can also send the model to me as 3ds file and I can also test exporting into fly!(to all friends!)
