November 10, 200520 yr Rene,Images in the General Forum are always automatically removed after a short period. Apparently Avsim feels that images posted here are only for brief access. For images to be available for an extended period of time, they recommend posting them in the Screenshot forum, then linking to them. Randall Rocke
November 10, 200520 yr Thanks Randall, now I understand.I think the "short time" is very short (1 month it seems), 3 months will be better.Next time I'll use the screenshots forum.Just for your pleasure (and for a month ;-)), a preview showing a DC3 Air France livery (by Leen de Jager, obviously)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/132623.jpg
November 10, 200520 yr http://home.planet.nl/~dejag021/shots/airfrance.jpgOR:Do it like this!!This image will stay "forever" , let`s say , as long as it is present on my own server. It does not use any bandwidth nor any storage-capacity at the Avsim server.Kind regards to all of you.LeenpsMy Sim-PC is still down , did not have time yet to become active in the Sim-scene again. But I certainly will ,in time.
November 10, 200520 yr A "King size" model, Leen, isn'it ?This one seems to be bigger than the Airbus A380, the parkmen at Cannes Mandelieu were certainly very proud to welcome this plane :-lol
November 10, 200520 yr Hi Azzurro,Why "King Size"?She is flying over Mandelieu , but a am sure you are aware of that and just joking. This old bird is nevertheless a " Tiny-Giant"If succes and reliability are the measuring standards it`s probably the biggest of them all.Amiti

November 10, 200520 yr Beautiful - thanks for posting! Yes, the image availability always seems a little short. I certainly understand their concerns about maintaining storage capacity, but I'm certain a few more weeks wouldn't harm them. Randall Rocke
