Back up and running

After a seven month hiatus from FlyII I just got everything installed and running on my new computer. The OS on my old computer (WinXP SP2) got ahold of something awful seven months ago and while I did save basically all my data I just never managed to get FlyII working again. My new computer is an Athlon 64 4000 with an ATI x800 256 meg card, it will run FlyII without a hitch. Thanks for keeping FlyII and the forum alive. Now to get back to working on those sectional charts I was going to do. I'll have to check and see if anyone did Hawaii yet.And BTW the ROTW Socata TBM 700 is still the best simulation available. I think ROTW's Seneca is also superior to the MSFS variety as well.

Hi Zane and Steve!I just got a new machine too: Athlon 64 4200+ dual core, Geforce 6800 256 megs ram, 1.5 gigs ram! I was frustrated since 3 years with my old motherboard because it didn't let me put more than 512 megs ram. Now this is muuuch better !!! :-yellow1 I am amazed by the image's quality, as well, colors seem more lively now. And sure being able to put antialiasing on and some more anisotropic filtering helps a lot!!!Cheers!Pascal

Well, looks like everyone's at this upgrading business. New Athlon 4000+ here with a GeForce 6600 (256MB).Andrew Luck18 miles SW EGSH
