December 10, 200718 yr Well Dad dislikes ebay. So it may be down to used game stores. Only negative is I live in Glasgow. No one buys Flight Sims here or at least very few do. I might have to wait till I go to London. Can I ask does Fly have all world airports or only some.
December 11, 200718 yr Fly! / Fly! 2K (updated original Fly!) and Fly! II (latest and last release) sported approximately around 20,000+ airports. Mind you, majority of the airports are not populated with buildings, so no real "eye candy" like with MS Flight sim. And in many cases, as Fly! II was rushed out the door by the publisher, you will need to find many of the patches. Now, the French Fly! Sim group, ROTW - put together a DVD featuring an easy to use setup, and a terrific array of scenery and aircraft to install. This works for both the USA and European release. The beauty of Fly! is, we have TerraScene for using digital terrain information to build the underlying scenery with; TerraModels for building our airports; Squawkbox for online multiplayer flying - *AND* some of the best made freeware aircraft available! ;-)Most all the patches for the main simulator are available here at AVSIM. ROTW can be accessed in English language thru: http://fly.simvol.org/indexus.php Cheers,Ken Wood :-sun1Fly!
