May 31, 200224 yr I am an add-on freak and I have most stuff known to flightsimming man. I have both the "Chris"s clouds, environment upgrades, FSUIPC etc. etc. However:1. I still seem to have a "shelf" at whatever cloud base I set i.e. a flat line, which usually shows a distinct colour change. If I have overcast clouds set, it's like a ceiling to fly into as I climb. Is this right? Should it not be more ragged?2. My add-on clouds often show as two-dimensional sheets. Is this unavoidable, or do I have my settings wrong (mostly maxed at present)?3. Is there any way to change the standard Microsoft "blue" sky. Yes, I know the colour changes with viz settings, dawn, dusk, etc, and that's all great, but that flat daytime blue on a clear day is starting to bug me. Should I just shut up and be happy with it (heck it's hardly a problem to worry about, I concede) or are there alternative "blues" about - either in the sim or as add-ons?Thanks for any replies to these points, comrades. I run FS2K2 on Windows XP on a P4 1.8 GHZ, 512MB RAM, GeForce 2 MX400.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
May 31, 200224 yr Commercial Member Hi, The two-dimensional sheets appears when you have any text on your screen, we can't do anything about this, only shift-z or (a p from M$)The sky color is in the hard code of msfs, it was possible in fs98 but in fs2000 and fs2002 they have change all the system, should wait for cfs3 or fs2004.ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFshttp://fsw.simflight.com/fsw.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis

No, this does not work for me. Looking through aircraft side windows I can still see clouds like thin cards.Michael J. Michael J.
May 31, 200224 yr Commercial Member Hi Michael, Sometime it works sometime not, also when you use the atc, all red text, virtual cockpit text, ANY text, this will stop the cloud rotation, and when you switch to the side view you will see a paper thin cloud., I can't beleive Ms have not fixed this in the beta process!ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFshttp://fsw.simflight.com/fsw.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
