Ralph's panel is nice but I have a few minor issues with it:1) It's not a photo-realistic panel2) The overhead panel is still playing the "Start" wavs every time I open it, and with the engines running it makes horrible noises.3) The panels are not really spec, especially the engineer's panel which is kind of random.4) APU doesn't do anything5) No hydraulics control6) No realistic fuel controlThe FS2000 version is basically the same (obviously), except the engine starters didn't even work correctly. It was a nice concept, but could do with a little work for the cost. This is not to put Ralph's effort down, it's still a nice little panel. I just can't use it.

Hi ScottI've used your panel several times but just to make it clear, what technical differences are there between your panel and the latest one to use the Skydesign bitmap by Capt. D'Attomo? At first I thought he'd ripped your panel, but then I saw the credits. There are, certainly, few 742 panels out there for FS2002 although I know Staffan is working on upgrading his.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv2.jpg

Mark,Besides having permission from Andreas to us his bitmaps and gauges, there are a few other minor differences, like I have an engineer's panel which has fuel gauges not on the Captain's. His throttle quad looks cooler, but I haven't flown it. Mine has lights on the AP which the Captain took out of his. But looking at the annunciator tells you what's activated. My Version 4 should be out soon (with better fuel gauges and a non-linked APU and a couple other features). I also pretty much replaced the autopilot with all Concorde switches. I am also considering removing the Mach speed hold (not on the real thing). This is until I make a completely new AP.Use both and see which you like the best.I finally put out the 2K2 panel when I searched everywhere for a realistic panel and never found one (including Staffan's which I hope is really cool when updated).

Personally, I like Vanessa Leightower's panel. Available at flightsim.com.Misha
