Missing file

Featured Replies

FLED froze on me the other day for the millionth time, and I had to reboot the PC. During the disk check, I noticed that a file in the FLIGHT3 directory (called "blackout.bin") had been corrupted. However, I cannot find this file on any of the CD's. Does everyone else have a file called blackout.bin in their FLIGHT3 directory ? If so, what is it for, and where can I find it on the CD's ?Chris Low,ENGLAND.

Chris.I think the failure is caused by other things, and windows/software reporting just this missing file.i've had simular errors in the past, and not been able to solve it by replacing this files only. You can try it for a first aid kit and see if it solves the problem.Best regards.Lars Peter.

Lars,I downloaded that little zip file, unzipped it, opened my FLIGHT3 directory.....and found the file blackout.bin already there ! It must be created when something is done in the simulator itself, but I still don't know what it's there for.Chris Low,ENGLAND.
