July 18, 200322 yr FLED froze on me the other day for the millionth time, and I had to reboot the PC. During the disk check, I noticed that a file in the FLIGHT3 directory (called "blackout.bin") had been corrupted. However, I cannot find this file on any of the CD's. Does everyone else have a file called blackout.bin in their FLIGHT3 directory ? If so, what is it for, and where can I find it on the CD's ?Chris Low,ENGLAND. July 18, 200322 yr Chris.I think the failure is caused by other things, and windows/software reporting just this missing file.i've had simular errors in the past, and not been able to solve it by replacing this files only. You can try it for a first aid kit and see if it solves the problem.Best regards.Lars Peter.
July 19, 200322 yr Author Lars,I downloaded that little zip file, unzipped it, opened my FLIGHT3 directory.....and found the file blackout.bin already there ! It must be created when something is done in the simulator itself, but I still don't know what it's there for.Chris Low,ENGLAND.
