Featured Replies

Hello,Yesterday i've purchased FU2 but i'm experiencing seriuos lock ups during loading ( red bar stops ) or after few seconds in the cockpit. After that only hard reset is avalible. I spend few hours trying to fix that but i'm still unable to make any flight :-( I'm running P3 450 , 256 ram , riva tnt2 pro on 29.92 det's , sblive card , directx 8.0 , win 98sei really want my memories from p133 back :-shy regardsEricson

Ericson.Riva TNT2 is the problem. This sim was made for the VOODOO series as a optimised standard.I had also in the past this card installed for a short period, and experienced the same problem as you.FU2 with 3D-accelleration enabled will crash with new drivers for this card.I did find at that time some older drivers on the internet that was"NVIDIA good enought" for this sim,- dated back to 1998 I think. However the new videocards of today seems to run FU2 very good.At least my INTEL and ATI cards have no broblems. If you want to stick to the TNT-card you have to try to find older drivers on the internet.I have some of this FU2 TNT drivers still stored at my old diskette archive. so if you don't succeed finding anything that works, give a note and I can send it over.Lars Peter. :-wave
