G500 + Reality XP - will MFD show megenta line ?
That's true but this is not solution. What if you decide to make direct to shortcut or select SID / STAR / app etc ? You would have to entry this into RXP GNS and then edit flight plan via FSX planner ( and then you will find out that FSX nav database is out of date compared to RXP GNS ) Too much hassle for simple f/p change.

G500 + Reality XP - will MFD show megenta line ?
thank you Bert and Martin for replies.I was afraid of that. It's a shame that such good bird was spoiled by simple G500 replica. G500 looks nice on screen shots but has very limited functions and that drive me nuts. :( What the point of top notch modelling, hiring good FDE specialist, putting new landing lights etc when you have something in front of your face that can't draw magenta line from when using most popular add-on GPS unit ? :Shocked:I wish that some day Carenado will produce steam gauges version of P46T + RXP GNS530/430 :(

G500 + Reality XP - will MFD show megenta line ?
Hello !Could some confirm/deny that G500 works with RXP GNS 530/430 ? I had read 10's of posts and can get solid answer to decide to buy or pass. Some says it works and others have problems.1. Will Carenado's G500 show on MFD flight plan route entered into RXP GNS530/430 ?2. Will Carenado's G500 follow the changes made into active flight plan ( like selecting approach for example in RXP GNS ? )thanksEricson

New Pictures of PA-46 MALIBU JET PROP DLX for FSX
just look at picture most to the right at http://www.facebook.com/Carenado ( picture showing front of the plane at dusk ) - you can see familiar triangle in front of nose landing gear.I'm also sure that if Carenado would put new landing lights into their plane they would show it at preview shots as it's increasing the value of the plane.

New Pictures of PA-46 MALIBU JET PROP DLX for FSX
new pictures were added on Friday - check out www.facebook.com/carenadoIt looks like another bird with triangle landing lights... I wonder when Carenado will make "new" landing lights ( like in NGX, Lotussim, Orbx Lancair , etc. - we asked for that looong time ago )

New Pictures of PA-46 MALIBU JET PROP DLX for FSX
I wonder how complex G600 simulation will be... If the same level as Microsoft's G1000 in default Cessna then I'm for steam gauges.I'm also worrying about performance as users had to switch off speed/altitude tapes and map mode to have good fps in Carenado's A36 - what's the point of that ?As I'd love to fly Carenado's PA46 I'd request "steam gauges" version for sake of FPS performance.

NEXT TWO AND A HALF INCOMING PRODUCTS REVEALED
Cessna 335 / 340A ? Count me in ! :(

NEW PICTURES OF THE INCOMING F33
I wonder what this "new quality standard" means ? Is it : 3D gauges ?real landing lights like in lotus sim L39 ?airframe and windshield icing like in L39, f1 mustang, pmdg j41 ?sadly from preview shots I don't see anything from list above... I like Carenado very much, coz they released in the past models that I've been dreaming about ( FS dreams :( ) but world keeps spinning and standard of FSX planes is going up as well as customer's expectations.Carenado, you are the masters in external models and please be masters regarding visuals inside the plane too :(

What Msfs Version Are You Using Now
FS9 for big stuff - big and complex planes and big airportsFSX for light ( piston prop ) stuff but only to use photo scenery with resolution higher than 4.8 m/pix I just bought new i5 / 4 gb / gtx 260 rig mainly for FSX and after 2 weeks of tweaking I'm only happy with light planes and photosceneries. Complex airliner/turboprop and big custom airport is no-no for me as I expect solid 30 fps and nothing less. It's incredible how FSX can eat up resources without giving too much in return. but...FS9 performance is sweet thanks to intel's turbo mode on i5. I never enjoyed FS9 so much as I do it now. I can throw anything at it and it will keep going...

How to remove autogen from certain area in FSX
Hello ! I've some photo scenery made from both bgl files and agn files. In certain areas I ( mostly around major airports ) I would like to remove autogen by deleting agn files to improve performance but I would like to keep autogen outside big cities. The problem is I can't guess which files to delete by looking at their names. Name of agn files is composed from several numbers. How determine which file is responsible for certain area ? Thanks !

L-39 out!
Wow, this L-39 sets new standards in aircraft models. I can't imagine now buying anything without such realistic landing lights and other goodies shown on the movie :(

Carenado PA34 shots updated
I also hope that they will release 2 AND 3 blade versions. Funny thing, that one blade in prop makes such a difference how Seneca looks. I'm 3 blade fan of course :(

Beechcraft Duchess coming soon
Recently I found some screen shots of Beechcraft Duchess that will be part of new JF Flying Club 2. Previous Flying Club aircraft didn't get much attention as visuals were quite low ( poor models and VCs , default gauges etc ). Looks like things could change with new FC2. http://www.earthsimulations.com/Forum/view...?f=13&t=384

Carenado PA34 shots updated
Keep in mind that these guys need to have access to real aircraft to get it right. They are located in Santiago, Chile and many of planes based there are now have their copies in FS series. Just search airliners.net and myaviation.net. From twins that are based in Santiago, Cessna T303 gets my vote for next Carenado's aircraft.

Carenado C152 for FS2004 is out!
yes they did.... actually it's rather hard to find C152 without PH unless you live in California ? :) Quick scan of C152 cockpits on a.net and I was unable to find C152 without PH switch. Never the less, pitot heat is enabled in aircraft.cfg and also it should be quite useful in FS where you can get pitot icing without entering visible moisture.fuel valve - I was missing that word ( English is not my native language ) Of course you can't select tanks in C152 , only on/off but there is no fuel valve in Carenado's C152. I'm not sure about backlight, I've flown C152 with backlight, but it was later model, not 1978 model that Carenado made for us , so erase point nr 9 :)

Carenado C152 for FS2004 is out!
Hello!Today I could get my hands on newest Carenado's release for FS9, my uncle bought it and I rushed to see this baby. Awesome external model, great VC but also some bugs that make this plane little bit uncomplete. But as it had been proven in past I'm sure that Carenado will quickly fix these problems.List of bugs I found :1. pitot heat switch turns on dome lights in VC 2. no pitot heat switch in 2d panel3. no fuel selector ( C152 has simple one but has it )4. wrong fuel capacity on placecard near place where fuel selector should be ( 37.5 gal ) vs actual in flight model (26 gal.)5. nav/com switch turns on/off also ADF6. no audio selector panel ( needed to ident ADF/VOR station for example )7. turn coordinator has OFF warning even with power on 8. I'm guessing by looking at C152 cockpits photos on airliners.net that fuel gauges should be swapped in place with engine control gauges9. no gauges backlight ? only dome light...10. if Carenado can model such things like moving vents in 3D why magneto switch in VC is flat 2d gauge ?

(Old) French Polynesia scenery - Bora Bora, Maupiti etc...
I remember some French Polynesia scenery done by (obviously) some French company for FS2000. It came on one CD, had a photo realistic textures of lagoons and islands. As far as I remember it didn't work in Fs2002, plane would sink into the ground. Quality for that time was awesome, but as Kyprianos I cant' recall any links for that scenery :(edit - I think I found it : http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kds?$=main/review/poly.htm

Courchevel LFLJ by Neuroflight
Hello Kyprianos ! I've far as I remember I had similar mesh problems. This Neuroflight scenery is somekind buggy...Regarding Guy's site I've found something : http://www.vf-air.com/Altis.htmAfter quick scan ( I don't know french language ) looks like altiports have been upadated to FS9 max vertex level 21 feature. I'll check that laterafter my exams :9 I've been missing many of them since switching to FS9PS. I have flown with you one trip to one italian alti_strip back in Fs2002 days , of course online on Vatsim. I still remeber your close call landing :7 best regards :-wave Ericson
