December 18, 200916 yr Hello ! I've some photo scenery made from both bgl files and agn files. In certain areas I ( mostly around major airports ) I would like to remove autogen by deleting agn files to improve performance but I would like to keep autogen outside big cities. The problem is I can't guess which files to delete by looking at their names. Name of agn files is composed from several numbers. How determine which file is responsible for certain area ? Thanks !
December 18, 200916 yr You can simply load the bgl file in the Autogen Annotator and delete unwanted objects there, then save the new agn files.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
December 18, 200916 yr Hello:I believe Luis' answer is the BEST answer to avoid problems for most users. :( But I think I'm also seeing an inquiry here that involves planning for autogen configuration in larger areas in and around your custom photoreal land class. If you want to know more about the legacy land class quad numbering system for alternate (custom land class) tile ID "file naming" and associated custom autogen *.AGN Annotator "file naming", you could look into the TCalcX utility by Richard Ludowise (aka "Rhumbaflappy") and/or IdentifyTile with IDTileX by George Davison referenced in this thread:http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthrea...ghlight=IDTileXPerhaps, too, you are inquiring about the issue of how to "sandwich" the layers for various land class add-ons which impart autogen to areas other than that provided by custom photoreal land class and associated custom autogen *.AGN Annotator files. If that is the case, check out these links...UTX Scenery.cfg land class layering:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...D=188245#188245UTX-EUR (Europe Only) Landclass Layer:http://www.simforums.com/forums/printer_fr...s.asp?TID=25055Hope this helps ! :(GaryGB
