Courchevel LFLJ by Neuroflight

Recommended Posts

Has anyone had this issue with Courchevel scenery by "Neuroflight" ?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/167094.jpgI have installed the Altirelief by Guy Nemoz as suggested in the webpage. On take off's I seem to taxi down the sloped ruwnay OK.On landings as soon as I try to flare of the rising runway I dive through the visible ruwnay texture and continue for a crash on the terrain (as in snapshot) below it.(freeware) Product page:http://www.neuroflight.com/index_en.php?page=courchevel_eI tried surfing to Guy "Mr FS9 sloped runways!" Nemoz webpage and it is not on line any more.http://www.vf-air.com/ALTIPORTS.htmI emailed him and got a bounce back.Bernard Martin's page still existshttp://perso.orange.fr/bravomike/fs2004.htmlKyprianos Biris :-cool[link:hvacc.org]Hellenic vACChttp://vateur.org/staff/vateur_m.jpghttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/810309/3.png

Hello Kyprianos ! I've far as I remember I had similar mesh problems. This Neuroflight scenery is somekind buggy...Regarding Guy's site I've found something : http://www.vf-air.com/Altis.htmAfter quick scan ( I don't know french language ) looks like altiports have been upadated to FS9 max vertex level 21 feature. I'll check that laterafter my exams :9 I've been missing many of them since switching to FS9PS. I have flown with you one trip to one italian alti_strip back in Fs2002 days , of course online on Vatsim. I still remeber your close call landing :7 best regards :-wave Ericson

I have had that problem as well. What I found was that I was landing too soon. Carry up slope, as I recall there is a faint line or something across the runway. Land past that and all will be well. I'd check, but no longer have it installed.Cheers

Thank youEventually after I tried the "Club 21" scenery(for Terrain Max Vertex Level=21 setting in FS9.CFG)I found ou the one he has for setting 19 is the most complete.Downloads:http://www.vf-air.com/down.htmI found that Altirelief-2.zip mesh terrain is too heavy for my PC.I reverted back to the older Altirelief.zip and installed the two main scenery packages only and I am complete. So all in all:a) http://www.vf-air.com/Altisurfaces.zip:( http://www.vf-air.com/AltiportsAlpes.zipc) http://www.vf-air.com/Altirelief.zipD) TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=19 in FS9.CFG... and ready to ride the Alps. When done flying in the area change toTERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21I attach an FSNavigator flight route to visit most of them.Kyprianos Biris :-cool[link:hvacc.org]Hellenic vACChttp://vateur.org/staff/vateur_m.jpghttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/810309/3.pnghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/167501.zip
