January 30, 200620 yr When I was using the default ATC there was a little trick you could use during long flights so you didn''t need to be at the computer for 8 hours. Once at cruise ATC asks you to contact the next center, as long as you acknowlegded and switch frequencies but not call in to the next center, until you are a few hundred miles from your destination you can let the flight progress without the fear that your IFR clearance will be canceled because you missed an ATC call. That way you don't need to constantly moniter the flight for the next 8 hours. Is there a way to do something similar with RC?Dave Fisher
