November 19, 200223 yr I believe you should use Word 2000, not Wordpad for reading this document.Stamatis
November 19, 200223 yr Kenny,I just tried it in Wordpad and it works for me. It did take it a while to load.I think JD plans to have a PDF document ready in a few days. You can wait for that if you wish.
November 19, 200223 yr I started printing the manual from MS Word (did 2 pages per sheet) and all was fine until pp. 195 and 196 were reached. At that point the text seemed to reformat itself into 6 broken columns and then continued to print the same page (about 15 times) before I noticed the problem and terminated the print job. Anybody else encontered this?Same topic; different venue (for JD). You said in a seperate post: doc and .pdf formati heard loud and clear no one likes the manual online.188 pages of printed information! i'm thinking there will be no questions about v3, since all the answers are in the manual Were you serious about the '188 pages?':D It looks like there are 458 pages. :( (Maybe it's the rabbit multiplication factor exerting its force in the realm of RC). :-eek-GeorgeM at 5B6
November 19, 200223 yr Commercial Member only 188 here.i printed mine duplex, so it is less than 100 sheets of paperi printed it at office max. i'm sure kinkos, office depot, staples, would all do it for you. i think i paid 16$ for duplex printing JD Read my blog
November 19, 200223 yr JD: So you won't think that I've been visiting other planets :-roll I do want to restate that I do have a 458 page manual which looks like it is formatted to contain one-half or one-fourth of the amount of data that would normally be present on a 'standard' page; some event must have occurred between unzipping and printing! :-hmmmEven the index in the first few pages shows all of the topics with corresponding page numbers ranging from 1 to 458 and if you go to a given page number, you'll find the correct topic! In any case, I'll search out my Word gremlin(or rabbit) and restore order to my files. :'(But then again, I can claim to be the proud owner of a 458 page manual when everyone else is limited to only 188 pages. :-jumpy...and if you do the math it would also mean that my Radar Contact knowledge base has increased by 270 pages and hopefully, at no additional cost!!!C ya'-George
