Ah! I see. But you agree that as far as RC itself is concerned, this would not make any difference, right?I use a separate stand-alone FMC so I program that separately from RC.Stamatis

absolutely. it is just for the 1/4 brain that is in use when i'm flying.the other 3/4 is sleeping.do you see the fractions LOL

Stamatis,It doesn't get used by RC, but when someone wants to fly an IAP to the plate, then it's used.

"but when someone wants to fly an IAP to the plate, then it's used."I understand, but this is true only when you use the flight plan itself to automatically program your GPS/FMC.If you enter the FMC route separately, as in real life, then entering all these last waypoints is of no use to RC, as John confirmed.I guess the majority of users belong to the first category, so I understand why you're saying this.Stamatis
