December 6, 200223 yr Scott-Just wanted to let you know, that after all, I just completed a beautiful satisfactory flight as follows. In the Dreamfleet Archer, from KPBI to KMIA, using FSMeteo and RCV3 (of course). I flew in the virtual cockpit with AdvDisplay undocked and unfortunately without the use of my 3D glasses. This was my first complete flight with RCV3 and I REALLY enjoyed it. It was very true to life and the commands, vectoring and voices worked perfectly. My only problems were that I was receiving two ATIS reports at once and I would still love to be able to utilize the 3D glasses with RCV3Thanks for a great program. December 6, 200223 yr Commercial Member you can turn down the volume of the ms atc, and you won't hear the double atissorry about the 3d glasses. i'll make a note to myself to enlist a beta tester with 3d glasses... :-) JD Read my blog
December 6, 200223 yr Author "to enlist a beta tester with 3d glasses"John,I voluntered but was turned down ;-)Seriously, I just tried another twist and it really worked fine. After I was vectored to the downwind, I turned off the AdvDisplay, went to full screen, put on my glasses, turned on the 3D and the green bar appeared. I then completed the flight from the virtual cockpit in 3D mode and it was very effective.I recommend this "approach" to others who may be using 3D.Thanks again, Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
December 6, 200223 yr Howard,I'm glad to read the flight was good. I'm sorry about the 3D.You can eliminate the FSATC ATIS by setting Comm 2 as active and do not have "Both" on the audio panel. Then you can happily tuen Comm 2 to FSATC and RC will use Comm 1.
