many posts on advdisp not docking. can't be close to the edge, has to be more that 50% on a panel.you may need to rassign your rc keys, if your plane/panel use the same keysyou can make the font on advdisp any color. mine are orange. i had to make them white for the manual so it would show up. change the font size, color, background, and don't forget to save the position of advdisp by right mouse clicking, and choosing save.if the position on the panel is not saved, it is likely that your panel.cfg file is read-only.the manual will tell you how to change the rc keys. troubleshooting advdisp is in there too.if you are not hearing anything when you press 1 or 2, it's possible the panel is grabbing the keys before i can get them. changing the rc keys will help thatif still no sound, it is possible that you have to increase the number of simultaneous wavs your sound card can process. plenty of posts on how to do that on this forumlet us know how you progress...

Johan,After moving/sizing/adjusting Adv Display you must click somewhere in the main FS window before you select any of the menu items in RC. If FS is not the active window you will get zero response from RC.ps. Just completed a KMDW - KDFW (ugly weather at DFW with FS Meteo) in the updated Iron Knuckles DC9. RC was faultless as was the DC9 ;)

you changed your rc keys to shift-ctrl-1, shift-ctrl-2, etc?that is why the menu is saying cs1, cs2, cs3, etc. to execute that menu command, you have to press ctrl-shift-1, ctrl-shift-2sounds like you need to find some keys that aren't used in your dc9, and assign those to the rc menu keys.there must be 23 keys that aren't used in the dc9 :-)
