Screen Updates with RC3 and Flightmax/Garmin

Featured Replies

Hello,I am running a new FS2002. It runs on a very fast system so I don't think that is the problem. When I run my new RC V3 (I have also tried the new Beta sent to me by the support people)WITH EITHER my Flightmax OR my Garmin 530, the Flightmax or Garmin 530 "Screens" blink, lose data, restore data, etc. The problem only occurs when the RC V3 is running. Has anyone seen the problem? Thanks,Ron [email protected]

isn't flightmax done by john hnidec? i remember seeing something on the activesky forum about the same problem involving active sky and flightmax.i thought john was updating his program. have you written him?

jd, i have flt max and RC doesn't interfere with it. Loads up fine with no blinking or anything. But, flt max doesn't work well with ActiveSky or FSMeteo in that the weather radar returns are not working. It does for some, not for others......voodoo software.. he he I think the problems will be resolved eventually. A lot of very good software for simming has been released lateley and the developers don't all know each other. ;-) Seems to me that y'all are working more closely lately. That can only be good for everyone!Sorry, don't have the Garmin so can't comment on that but Flt Max and RC are happy together.Best, Rob

I had this same problem and solved it downloading the latest version of AdvDisp program, v1.97.

Hello,Thanks for the help!!!!The answer is the update of the ADVDISP to the most current version (1.97). This cured all of the blink problems with the Flightmax, etc. Thanks againRon Sagel
