January 30, 200323 yr Was hoping someone out there might be able to tell me how I can modify a 777 panel so that the RC3 text box will not disappear as soon as I try and dock it into place. The panel in question is b777pam.zip for the Meljet 777. Thanks guysDave
January 30, 200323 yr Commercial Member there are probably 50 posts on this topic in the forum. you have to make sure that the advdisp window is mostly on top of a panel. if it is less than 50% on a panel, it won't dock.also make sure it is not too close to the side of the window JD Read my blog

January 30, 200323 yr Dave,You DON'T have to dock the window. I like to use VC panels and you can't dock to them so I just make my window, move it to where I want it and leave it undocked. It will stay where you leave it. The only problem is that it has that blue border around it, which I can live with in order to be able to put it on the VC panel.maxsdadhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg
January 31, 200323 yr Richard, I just discovered this myself a few nights ago. There are a few VC that I love to fly with and now I can stop switching back to panel view to interact with RC and AdvDisp window. :-)Rob
January 31, 200323 yr One other option is to make a separate window and dock AdvDisp there. Then you can open that window in any view to see the RC commands.
