I can't get RC to load abovenormal I copied the file over and edited for my path %comspec% /C "start /ABOVENORMAL "C:Program Filesrcv30rcv3.exe" and when I try to start I go into a dos panel.I will try to upload a picture of my desktop to show. When I go back to regular setup the voices are very slow.I can't figure this out. download 3.01change your shortcut to rcv3.exe to "c:pathtorcrcv3.exe" /highor"c:pathtorcrcv3.exe" /realtimethe problem with your statement%comspec% /C "start /ABOVENORMAL "C:Program Filesrcv30rcv3.exe"is too many quotes%comspec% /C start /ABOVENORMAL "C:Program Filesrcv30rcv3.exe"would probably work. but why use that cumbersome line?download 3.01, use the /high or /realtime command line switches

Dear JDAfter following this interesting thread I would like to come up with a query. I still use RCV3 (Vers. 3.01) with the previous batch running at LOW priority as you recommended some time ago. Now, I have FS2k2, RC, FDC and Active Sky SE all running at LOW with an acceptable speech performance. However, I noticed FDC on Jeff G's desktop as well and wonder, if FDC works with RC running at NORMAL or ABOVENORMAL. Kind regards, Sam

Hmmm... no one there?

i don't know, i don't use fdc

Hi SamI can now run FDC (newest version) at normal without it coming to a grinding halt at takes off.I have RC running at /ABOVENORMAL and everything else running at /NORMAL.The preset key issue with RC and FDC - is also resolved.

Cheers
